Looking to volunteer for the upcoming St. James School year or for Faith Formation? Then you will need to complete the diocesan Safe Environment Policy requirements. If you have already been approved, you will receive notifications from our Safe Environment Coordinator, Sue Ponticello, when your clearances need to be renewed. THANK YOU to everyone who has placed items in the Respect Life bin outside St. James and in our box at the back of St. Mary’s. It is amazing how often donations match almost exactly requests for specific help, truly showing the Providence of God. We gratefully accept — and joyfully re-distribute all gently-used clothing (ALL seasons, sizes newborn through young adult), baby equipment, pre-school books, diapers (all sizes), and wipes.

Word of mouth is our best advertisement. If you know a pregnant mom or young family in need of practical supplies for their little ones, please spread the word that Respect Life is here to help! Congratulations to our six newest transitional deacons, ordained Saturday for the Diocese of Pittsburgh!

Please join us in praying for Christopher R. Baker, Xavier J. Engle, Peter D. Henkels, Thong Van Le, Christopher T. McMullen, and Gabriel R. Schoone as they begin this important new ministry and continue their preparation for the priesthood.
