The University Choir is on the road in Canada! From Halifax to Amherst and beyond, Sewanee’s 70-member University Choir is sharing a rich tradition of sacred music as part of its 2026 summer tour through Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. The tour concludes this Sunday at the Cathedral Church of All Saints in Halifax, with services at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.—both available via livestream. This morning at our 11 a.m. service we prayed for the new members of the Sewanee Volunteer Fire Department. We were joined by other members of the department, and the Very Rev. Jim Turrell, captain for SVFD, served as the celebrant for the service. We are so grateful for their dedicated service to this community!
