Smoky Mtn had a successful turnout for vacation Bible school. Although we didn’t have a lot of children, they had a good time learning about Paul and what it looked like to be a Christian. It was great fellowship with the children, volunteers and parents. The snacks and doing outside activities were their favorites.

It's VBS time come and join us. It will be fun, fun, fun.

What If You’re Not Disqualified?
Jesus never chose perfect people. Matthew 10 reminds us that God transforms willing people, not flawless people.

The Reel in Your Head Is Doing Real Damage

You didn’t do anything physical, but your mind has been on repeat. And now you feel the shame. Turns out your brain reacts to imagination like it does to reality. Same dopamine. Same damage. Lust doesn’t need contact to corrupt. Jesus said it starts in the heart. Real freedom begins in your thinking. Pray for a new mind. You don’t need just self-control; you need a mental reset.

Reacting to Old Pain

You’re Scrolling Your Way Into Spiritual Silence

At first, you felt guilty. Now? You feel nothing. You scroll, watch, and give in, no flinch, no fight, just silence. That’s not peace. That’s spiritual paralysis. Psychology calls it desensitization.

You come home to silence every night
You keep it together all day but fall apart when the silence hits. Loneliness is not just sadness. It’s your body in pain. God sees the ache and steps into it. You don’t have to keep pretending. You are not alone.
