PLEASE PRAY. Three Pastors in Axum, Tigre, Ethiopia, were arrested last night for refusing to close their churches where they worship Jesus our Redeemer. Axum is where legalistic Orthodox have their headquarters and hold sway. Please pray for these brothers in Christ now in prison for their faith. 1) Tariku Bekele Leader of Mekane Yesus Lutheran Church 2) Pastor Gebre Medhin Zeru Full Gospel Church 3) Mulugeta Asmelash Kale Hiwot (SIM). They are all friends of Hope for Horn of Africa Ministries. We visited Tariku shortly after his first church building was burned to the ground while the police did nothing. Pray that the LORD uses their suffering for HIS GLORY, and keeps them safe.

The Axum airport is open. Time to start planning for our next trip.

Have not been here in a while. Just received a report from a friend in Axum. He said there is no tourist activity. Tourism is the main source of income. Please pray that they get the airport repaired soon.

Things are improving in Axum, Ethiopia. We talked a pastor/friend in Axum. His family and church are doing well. The airport still needs to be repaired. Please continue to lift them in prayer.

Axum, Ethiopia airport damaged during the war. All the runway is like the picture. No tourist can get to Axum. There main way to make money. Please pray for quick repair.
