Today as I was walking
In the fields just down the way
I sat down on a fallen log
To pass the time away

And as I looked around me
The more that I did look
the more I realize that I am viewing
God's coloring book

I saw a golden ray of sunlight
A silver drop of dew
A soft, white floating cloud

A candidate with choir directing experience who could lead a choir during a small part of the year would be preferred. Pay will be negotiated and will depend on experience. Celebration of Life Service for George Otterman

We are saddened by the loss of George Otterman, a beloved member of our church family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Wears Valley United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 29, at 2:00 PM. George had a contagious smile and witty personality. In the fall, he would suggest the church sign say, “Look…God is painting the mountain.” What a view he has now!
