Mrs. Wendy commenced the children's message by inquiring about their experiences with significant accomplishments, followed by an exploration of the feelings associated with doing something good. This discussion naturally led to a review of the gospel, with Mrs. Wendy underscoring the importance of sharing Christ's love with others. Through the use of a flashlight analogy, she explained that just as the light guides us, following Christ's teachings allows us to walk in the light, and sharing His love facilitates the growth of that light.

During today's Children's Message, Rev. Jon Sargeant inquired about the significance of the church's red attire, ultimately eliciting the response that it was Pentecost. Upon receiving this answer, Rev. Sargeant probed further by asking the children to define Pentecost, explaining that it commemorates the church's birthday. When asked to define the church, the children initially responded that it was the building. Rev. Sargeant clarified that the church actually refers to the community of people gathering to learn about God's Word. He proceeded to share the day's Gospel and concluded by highlighting the Holy Spirit's role in empowering church members to spread the Gospel courageously.

The Children's Message commenced with Rev. Sargeant, affectionately known as Father Jon, inquiring if the children had ever embarked on an extended journey. Several shared experiences visiting Disney. Father Jon then posed a question regarding who they had left behind during their travels. His intention was to prompt reflection on family members, such as parents or grandparents, who might have been unable to participate and what their activities might have been while the children were away. Father Jon noted that those left behind likely offered prayers for the children's safety during their trip and their return. He drew a parallel to the Gospel, where Jesus, aware of his impending ascension, provided the disciples with a prayer to signify his enduring presence with them and future believers.

Mrs. Caroline delivered a remarkable sermon that effectively merged Rogation Sunday and Mother's Day into a unified message for the congregation this morning. She initiated the children's sermon by presenting seeds to the children, thereby introducing the theme in an engaging manner. Subsequently, Mrs. Caroline utilized tangible clues to highlight the significance of Rogation Sunday and its coincidence with Mother's Day. During the children's sermon, Mrs. Caroline posed a question regarding the essential factors for farmers to achieve success in cultivating vegetables. The children's responses included water, sunlight, favorable weather, fertilizer, and soil. Mrs. Caroline pointed out that the children had overlooked a crucial element, namely that farmers require an abundance of faith. She elaborated that farmers must trust in God's providence and exercise patience, rather than constantly monitoring their crops' progress. Furthermore, Mrs. Caroline drew a parallel between farmers and mothers, noting that mothers sow seeds of love, faith, and patience in their children and must have faith in God's guidance as they nurture them. The children distributed packets of impatiens to the congregation, symbolizing the importance of having faith comparable to the tiny size of the seeds. Concluding the sermon, Mrs. Caroline led the children in holding up letters that spelled out 'Thank you' as she recited a poem expressing gratitude to farmers and mothers for their faith, love, and support.
