Brother Myron was deeply loved and warmly respected in our Romanian community. Whenever he traveled through the Cleveland area, he joyfully preached in our church and delighted in the music of our choir. And yes—he absolutely cherished Romanian food, a detail he shared with a smile every time.
He visited Romania several times, carrying those experiences close to his heart, and often shared them with our Cleveland Romanian Baptist Church. His stories encouraged us, reminded us of God’s faithfulness, and strengthened the bond between our churches.
We are sincerely grateful to God for the beautiful work He accomplished through this faithful servant. Brother Myron’s kindness, humility, and devotion to the Gospel left a lasting imprint on all of us.

With deep sorrow yet grateful hearts, we announce the passing of Dr. Myron Kenneth Guiler, President of Marietta Bible College, lovingly known as Preacher. Born August 10, 1934, he faithfully served the Lord alongside his wife, Linda Guiler.

In 1977, Dr. Guiler founded Marietta Bible College, where thousands of American and international students were trained in the Word of God. He emphasized prayer. Through his vision, graduates returned to their homelands, became missionaries, and started churches across the world.

Dr. Guiler carried a heart for missions and preached in many nations. Even in his old age, his desire remained the same, to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
