Expectations can be tricky.
Sometimes, we place expectations on people, situations, and even ourselves that end up causing disappointment when reality doesn’t match up. But here's the thing—God didn’t create us to live under the weight of constant unmet expectations. Instead, He calls us to trust Him, not for the outcome we want, but in His supernatural ability to transform the situation and the process He leads us through.

When we surrender our expectations to Him, we begin to walk in freedom, peace, and grace. It’s in this place of surrender that we find purpose, even when things don’t go as planned. Let’s release the pressure of expecting everything to go perfectly and lean into the strength and wisdom that comes from partnering with Him every step of the way.

Today, I'm heartbroken to say goodbye to a dear friend and yet so excited about where he is now. Mark touched so many lives with his unwavering faith and remarkable strength, even in the face of cancer. This picture captures a moment of joy and friendship that I'll forever cherish. Your faith in Jesus was a beacon of light in the darkest of times, and your spirit will continue to inspire me. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You'll always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️
