Happy Easter Celebration to our Ascension Congregation,

For those who plan to attend the Easter Vigil tomorrow morning at 7am; it will be held inside the church instead of up at the outdoor chapel, due to the weather conditions predicted. Everything will continue as planned, with an Easter brunch following.

The 10AM Service will also be celebrated, with an Easter brunch following.

If you ordered an Easter Plant(s) - you may take it home with you after the service. They are beautiful.

Due to the impending ice storm, we are canceling this Sunday’s service, January 25th. We suggest that you go to our National Cathedral’s website (cathedral.org) and watch the pre-recorded service that they will livestream at 11:15 on Sunday morning. Additionally, there will be no Tuesday noon Healing Service and Eucharist on the 27th. Be safe, stay warm, and please pray for all who will be impacted by this storm.

What a great Saturday! We joined other area churches and participated in the Rise Against Hunger workshop. It made for a wonderful gathering; seeing old friends and making new ones. We all worked hard as the music played.
By the end of the event, we had packed 38,000 meals!
I hope we get to do this again and thanks to everyone who helped make this a wonderful day. If you weren't able to make it, we missed you!

We had a great celebration today with our Bishop, The Right Reverend Daniel Richards. We received these four wonderful folks from the Roman Catholic tradition. From left to right they are: John and Liz Magro, Ron Rocci, and Greg Binder. Thanks, too, to The Reverend Mary Jeffers, our Deacon for the Eucharist—she’s great.
