Stavanger Lutheran Church is a warm and welcoming church located at 2904 N. 32nd Rd, north of Seneca, IL. We are an affiliate of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) and welcome all who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to join us for worship. Stavanger Lutheran Church practices a traditional, liturgical worship service that includes the Service of the Word, the Apost

le’s Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and monthly Holy Communion. We sing praises with traditional hymns, accompanied by organ or piano. Dress is casual at Stavanger and children are welcome. A children’s sermon is included on most Sundays. Reverend Jennifer Bennet, Master of Divinity, is serving as Interim Pastor. We love having visitors at Stavanger Lutheran Church and hope you will join us for worship

✝️ Before he ascended, Jesus gave his disciples one final, world-changing command: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Not someday. Not if you feel ready. Go — now — and know that I am with you always.

This Sunday is Holy Trinity Sunday, and Pastor Bennet will be preaching from Matthew 28:16-20 — the Great Commission. The same risen Lord who sent those first disciples into the world is sending us too. The call hasn't changed. And neither has the promise. 🌍

He asked his Father to protect you, to send you, and to keep you — even while you live right in the middle of a world that doesn't share your values.
