This Sunday, Pastor Bennet preaches on the Parable of the Lost Sheep from Matthew 18. A sheep never decides to run away. It gets lost with its head down, one mouthful of grass at a time, and by the time it looks up, the flock is gone.

We sometimes do the same thing! Life gets busy, and distractions are everywhere. We can quickly lose our bearings. But the faithful shepherd leaves the ninety-nine and comes after the one who is lost. Join us for worship and hear the Good News - the one Jesus comes for is YOU!

✝️ "Will you be to me like a deceitful brook, waters that fail?"

Jeremiah said that out loud. Right to God's face. He had preached for forty years and had nothing to show for it, and he came down to the creek bed in the heat and found nothing but cracked mud.

Maybe you know that walk. The prayer you have prayed so many times you have quit expecting anything to come of it.

Here is what God said back to him. Not an explanation. A promise: "If you return, I will restore you." And in the Hebrew, that word "restore" is the very same word as "return," only now God is the one doing it. I will turn you. He supplies the very thing he asks for.

You are not held by the strength of your grip. You are held by his.

🔑 Ever stood at a locked door with a whole ring of keys and not one of them fit?

This Sunday we're in Matthew 16, where Jesus hands over the keys of the kingdom. Not keys made of metal. The key that opens heaven is made of words, and the words are these: "I forgive you. All of it. In the name of Jesus."

Here's the good part. Jesus didn't keep that key locked away in heaven. He handed it to his church, so that it can be said out loud to you, and when it is said, it counts.

Come hear it this Sunday. Our doors are open, and all are welcome!
