💚 August is Make-A-Will Month 💚

One of the greatest gifts you can leave your family isn’t something they can hold—it’s the peace of mind that comes from knowing your wishes.

Creating or updating your will is an act of love. It helps guide your family through difficult times, reduces uncertainty, and ensures your legacy is honored the way you intended.

As you make these important plans, take time to share your final wishes, including your cemetery and burial preferences, with the people you love. Having these conversations today can ease the burden on your family tomorrow.

At Hornet Cemetery, we believe planning ahead is one of the most thoughtful ways to care for those you leave behind.

It is with heavy hearts that the Hornet Cemetery Association shares the passing of our Chairman and dear friend, Grant Krummel.

Grant’s dedication to Hornet Cemetery was truly a labor of love. Following in his father’s footsteps, he devoted countless hours to preserving this sacred place and honoring those who came before us. Even during his illness, he remained committed to serving our Association and our community with quiet strength, integrity, and a generous heart.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Shelley, his children, grandchildren, and all who knew and loved him. Please keep the Krummel family in your thoughts and prayers.

Please join us in honoring Grant’s life at his memorial graveside service with military honors:

🇺🇸 **This Independence Day Weekend, We Remember.** 🇺🇸

As we celebrate our nation's freedom with family, friends, and fireworks, let's also take a moment to reflect on those who made that freedom possible.

Hornet Cemetery is the final resting place of veterans, pioneers, and generations of families who helped shape our community and our country. Their service, sacrifice, and legacy continue to inspire us today.

Whether you're visiting loved ones, placing flowers, or simply taking a quiet walk through the cemetery, we hope you'll pause to remember the lives that came before us and the freedoms we enjoy because of them.

From all of us at the Hornet Cemetery Association, we wish you and your family a safe, peaceful, and meaningful Independence Day weekend.

🇺🇸 *May we never forget that freedom is never free.🇺🇸
