In the Bible- Visions are explained and clarified…. They are not left to open-ended interpretations. Same with Scripture. It has a God intended meaning… not endless interpretations. 😁

Best line today- “You knew Nebuchadnezzar was humbled, yet you yourself have defied the Lord of Heaven!”
You have not honored the God who gives you breath and controls your destiny! 5:22-23

Consider could this be said of us personally???

Bible reading tip - never fill in blanks where the Bible doesn’t. What we can know for certain was from a few days ago. “Son of Man, describe what I have shown to you so they will be ashamed of all their sins. Let them study its plan and they will be ashamed of what they have done.” 43:10

The division of land is completely different than it was in Joshua 🤷‍♂️

Lastly- just in Ezekiel 30… I will Destroy, I will Smash, I will Destroy, I will Pour out my Fury, I will Stamp Out, I will Set Fire, I will Greatly Punish🫡

Day 248

It seems the main point of all this is (Ezekiel 40-48 and the whole Bible) is that God desires to be with his people but Sin Separates.

- you have brought people into my sanctuary that have no heart for God. 44:7

- there’s a difference between what is holy and what is common 44:23

- stop cheating my people. Use honest weights and scales. (Corruption was just as common as it is today). “Where there’s people there will be problems”😔

- lastly. I noticed the tax was 1.6% or less 😂. Just kidding. True Christians are living for the next life 👌

To be frank: there are sections in scripture that we cannot fully understand. The end of Daniel. The end of Ezekiel. Parts of Zechariah. When we speculate meaning that’s dangerous.

I am most confident when the scripture itself says what it’s for.
Today. The Lord said this is the place of my throne and the place where I will live here forever. 43:7. Son of man describe this to the people so they will be ashamed of their sins. 43:10

The basic law of the temple is absolute holiness😳 43:12

Going Beyond what is written is only speculating 😔

So the most powerful man was humbled and says: "God is eternal, His kingdom rules... no one can stop him or say to him what are you doing?" (4:35)

There is only one Sovereign Lord who owns and rules everything! Would He say of you that you have humbled yourself before Him???

Genealogy may seem boring but...

I highlighted almost every name today and I read and re-read every name! "I was thinking to myself as that every one of these names was a life... And every one of these names are now dead😳."

Chronologically it threw me off because we went backwards in time. But a funny was when "these two were killed trying to steal cattle" 😂🤦‍♂️v.21
