Dinner for Eight:
We are gearing up to begin another round of Dinner for Eight, and we would love both singles and couples to join us for this round! Those who have been a part of it have had great experiences with this program and I’m sure any of them would be willing to answer questions. The next round will run from the end of August to March, allowing groups to meet 3-4 times during this time. Please sign up by August 24th by calling or texting Julie Lierz @ 336-1149, or you may email her at [email protected]. If you prefer, you may simply write your name and contact information on the sheet in the Narthex. For those of you who have been involved in the past and would like to continue, please add your name to the list as well. A list of dinner groups will be sent out via email. This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow parishioners better and to have a fun night out!

Appreciation for Mission Center Volunteers & Some Needed Building Upgrades

The Mission Center with its army of volunteers has blessed countless people over the years. We are indebted 1) to everyone who remodeled the new location and helped with the transition and 2) to all the volunteers, including from our neighboring parishes, who keep this public service going with such high levels of activity. Thank you for your quiet gift of self to this important cause which supports local needs and helps sustain our school.

The Mission Center will be receiving some much-needed upgrades with its central AC unit and a new roof (the current one is allowing it to rain inside the back storage area!). This project will cost the Mission about $60,000 total. If you would like to help this cause, we have an anonymous donor who will match whatever donation you would like to make toward this project. Thank you for your generosity!
