So many refugees were served at the USF health fair. Thank you for volunteering for this Just Serve project. People who have never been to our church found it on just serve and signed up too!

We will get stats later, but it was incredible. So many volunteers, services, and patients.

The USF street med team was there, the USF nursing students. The USF emergency medicine team headed it all, and they were so thankful for us providing the venue and so many volunteers.

There were free back to school physicals, dental screenings and fluoride treatments, free bags of produce, stem activities, full eye exams, medical questions answered, and so much more.

The kids got toys that you donated if they went through the stations. The lunch was delicious and the fashion show was so beautiful and colorful.

What an incredible community event. Thank you!

Our stake is once again partnering with Gulf Coast JFCS Gulf Coast JFCS and USF Health Emergency Medicine USF Health-University of South Florida for the annual Health Fair for Refugee Families, which will take place at our Stake Center tomorrow, Saturday, June 6th.

Last year, members generously donated school supplies and backpacks to help refugee children prepare for school. This year, with the Health Fair taking place at the beginning of summer and featuring a carnival theme, we organized a Toy Drive for refugee children and teens.

We collected so many new toys for babies through teens that encourage learning, creativity, and development. Suggested donations include:
• Books
• LEGO® sets
• Puzzles
• Magnetic tiles
• Science kits
• Art supplies
• Sensory toys
• Educational games and toys
• Building blocks
• Activity games
and more!

Today was a historic day!
The St Pete Beach YSA Branch was formed! We welcome the new Branch President, Dan Ford, and his wife, Kim, who is the new institute teacher. We are excited to see this little branch grow ❤️ the Branch will meet at the Stake Center every Sunday at 12:00pm. Please help us spread the word to all Young Single Adults ages 18-35 ❤️

Our stake is excited to once again partner with Gulf Coast JFCS and USF Health Emergency Medicine for the Annual Health Fair for Refugee Families on June 6th! 🎉

This year’s event will feature a summer carnival theme, and we are collecting NEW toys for babies through teens to help bless refugee families in our community.

Suggested donations include:

and more!

Toy collections will run now through Sunday, May 31st. Donation areas will be available in Relief Society rooms throughout the stake.

🇺🇸 Volunteers Needed for the National Veterans Golden Age Games in Tampa! 🇺🇸

The 40th Annual National Veterans Golden Age Games are coming to Tampa June 27–July 2, and volunteers are needed to help support senior veterans from all around the country during this inspiring event focused on “Fitness for Life.”

This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, youth groups, and organizations to serve together at the Tampa Convention Center. Volunteers will assist during events, and all volunteers receive a t-shirt and meal ticket.

✔ Ages 14+ can volunteer independently
✔ Ages 10–13 can volunteer with an adult
✔ 4–6 hour shifts available

Sports include pickleball, powerlifting, swimming, cycling, basketball, track & field, golf, bowling, and more!
