Our Tuesday Takeaway from Pastor Charley's October 11th sermon is:

What is God doing that you haven't recognized yet?

(We are often like the 2 disciples on the walk from Jerusalem to Emmaus who don't recognize Jesus who is right beside them).

Jesus is always closer than you realize!

The Tuesday Takeaway from the October 4th sermon is: If you relate to the lost sheep, the lost coin, or the lost son, welcome home because this party is for you! For the rest of us, we have a choice: we can become more like the older brother (a Pharisee) who is judgmental and concerned about who is earning their way, or we can decide to become more like the father, gracious and merciful and eager to see EVERY child of God welcomed to the party.
