Congratulations Coach!

📣Congratulations to Phillip Ingersoll for being selected to be inducted in the 2026 Soul Bowl Classic Hall of Fame!

⭐️ He coached the Douglass Trojans varsity boys basketball team from 1979 to 1990 with a 204-92 overall record during his 11 seasons.

⭐️ Won three state titles in 1984, 1986, and 1989 (and finished as state runner-up in 1981).

⭐️ Led the Trojans to 10 consecutive state tournament appearances before resigning in June 1990 to move into school administration and later coach at Northeast High School.

📍Coach Ingersoll resides in Oklahoma City

🔥Ingersoll will be inducted into the hall of fame at halftime of the Soul Bowl Classic featuring Millwood vs Douglass, Saturday, September 12 at Douglass High School Moses F. Miller stadium with a 1:00pm kickoff.
