So I was working on a printed program for the Landing tonight and the subject is "Ready". I asked my son Michael Leix if there were any memes for ready set go. (Because to be honest I really don't understand them sometimes, ok most times). His reply was "This conversation is a meme"... oohhkkk I told my nephew Milo Dray what he said and he laughed and laughed. Hmm do I feel old or what?

Psalm 34:4- 5 I prayed to the Lord and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shame will darken their faces.

Do you need freedom from the fear/anxiety of your life? Trust in Jesus for he takes away the shame of our past and present and replaces it with joy!

I saw this posted and copied it*. As we start a new year look back and see that you have progressed! Quit beating yourself up for not fulfilling some high expectation. Jesus expects faith and trust in him, and he will lead you!
* Long ago I heard someone say in a meeting "progress not perfection." This was a foreign concept to me. I had always thought that if I was just good enough and did all the right things, then I would be right with God. I have come to understand that as long as I am heading in the right direction, Jesus makes up for all my shortcomings. It is Jesus that makes me holy before God the Father.

Direction not perfection.
