🌟 What’s Happening at Cornerstone This Week?

⛪️Join us this Sunday, August 8th, for Second Breakfast at 8:45 AM, followed by Sunday School at 9:15 AM. We’ll gather for worship in the Cornerstone Room as Pastor Steve brings us a message from Ezra 6, “Exiting the Doldrums.”
🇨🇷Our Costa Rica Mission Team will also share a special report during worship about their recent mission trip and the ways God worked through our team.

🗓️And don’t forget to mark your calendars for some upcoming Cornerstone events! We’ll be Blessing of the Backpacks 🎒 and celebrating with our CPC Pool Party ☀️ coming up soon. We’d love for our whole church family to join us!

☀️ Back to School Pool Party! 💦🍕

Join us as we celebrate the end of summer and kick off a new school year together! Everyone in our church family is invited to an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun at the pool.

✨CPC Cottage Suppers✨

What a fun night of food, fellowship, and getting to know one another a little better!

One of the things that makes Cottage Suppers so special is that while you know who your host is, you don’t know who you’ll be sharing the table with until you arrive. It’s always a fun surprise and a great way to meet people you may not see every Sunday or step outside your usual circle.

A huge thank you to our six amazing hosts for opening their homes and to everyone who came. We’re thankful for opportunities like these to laugh together, share a meal, encourage one another, and continue growing as the body of Christ. God is so good!

If you missed this one, we hope you’ll join us next time. There’s always room at the table. 💙

What’s Happening at Cornerstone This Week

Join us this Sunday, August 2, for a morning of worship and fellowship!

Sunday School begins at 9:15 AM, followed by Worship at 10:30 AM in the Cornerstone Room.

Pastor Steve will bring the message from Ezra 4:1–5 titled, “The Struggle is Real (but God is Real-er).”

Mark your calendar! Our Back-to-School Pool Party is coming up on Sunday, August 16, from 2:00–5:00 PM at the InShape Fitness Pool. Join us for an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun as we celebrate the start of a new school year!

Today is the last day to sign up for our Cottage Suppers! If you’d like to participate, please let Pud Glover know today.

As our Costa Rica mission team travels home today, please continue to pray for safe travels, smooth flights, and that the Lord would bring them home safely. Thank you for your faithful prayers throughout the week!

Join us for Sunday School at 9:15 AM, followed by Morning Worship in the Cornerstone Room. Pastor Steve will bring us the message from Ezra 3, titled “Whispers of Worship.” We look forward to worshiping with you!

Our Costa Rica mission team left bright and early this morning at 4:00 a.m. as they begin a week of serving with Rice & Beans Ministry.

Please join us in praying for safe travels, good health, unity, and opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel. Pray that God would prepare the hearts of those they meet and use our team to be a blessing to the communities they serve. We look forward to seeing all that the Lord will do this week!

What’s Happening at Cornerstone This Week!

⛪️Sunday, July 19th
Join us for Sunday School at 9:15 AM, followed by worship in the Cornerstone Room at 10:30 AM. Pastor Steve will bring us a message from Ezra 2: “The Persistent Faithfulness of God.”

🌿Tuesday, July 21st
Our children will be headed to the Alabama Nature Center to learn more about God’s amazing creation! The leader will be contacting all parents of children who signed up with additional details.

🎶Wednesday, July 22nd
The Chancel Choir will have practice at 5:30 PM.

🕰️Please remember that church summer hours are Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

✍🏻The deadline to participate in the CPC Cottage Suppers is July 25th. Contact Pud Glover to sign up!

🇨🇷Please also join us in prayer for our Costa Rica Mission Team as they travel July 18–25. Pray for safe travels, a meaningful trip, opportunities to serve, and that the gospel of Jesus Christ would be shared and received through their work and ministry.

Join us as Pastor Steve brings a message from Ezra 1:1–11 titled “God IS at Work.”

We will also have a special commissioning for our Costa Rica Mission Team as we pray over them and send them out to share the Gospel. We appreciate your prayers for the team as they prepare to serve this week.

🌿Also tomorrow is the LAST DAY to SIGN UP for the Nature Center!!!
