Struggles Build Strength:
Patience Produces Greatness
God has given you three things:
Capability - the power or skill to do something well.
Philippians 4:13 KJV
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Capacity - the maximum amount or power that can be produced or held.
Ephesians 3:20: "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or think, according to his power that is at work within us."
This highlights that God's ability exceeds human limits.
Isaiah 54:2: "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes."
This verse is frequently referenced as a command to expand one's personal and spiritual capacity to receive more from God.
Ability - the capacity, skill, talent, or natural power to do something.
1 Peter 4:11: "If anyone serves, he should serve with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ" —
Teaches that natural or spiritual abilities should be used to serve others.
Exodus 31:3: "And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship"
This Shows that skill and creative talent come from God.
2 Timothy 1:7: "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control" —
This Reminds believers that God equips them with inner power and capability.
