We saw his star at its rising

Vimos su estrella al salir
y hemos venido a adorarlo.
While all was still and quiet,
while the world slept unaware,
the Magi set out
not with certainty, but with trust.
Mientras todo permanecía en silencio,
mientras el mundo dormía sin saber,
los Magos se pusieron en camino
no con certeza, sino con confianza.
In hiddenness they journeyed,
guided by a light easy to overlook,
yet strong enough to lead kings.
En lo escondido caminaron,
guiados por una luz fácil de pasar por alto,
pero lo suficientemente fuerte
para conducir a reyes.
They sought no throne of power,
only a Child
fragile, silent, wrapped in humility.
No buscaron tronos ni poder,
sino a un Niño
frágil, silencioso,
envuelto en humildad.
There, before the little King,
they bowed low.
Gold, frankincense, and myrrh
became offerings of the heart:
their wisdom, their worship, their lives.
Allí, ante el pequeño Rey,
se postraron.
Oro, incienso y mirra
se hicieron ofrenda del corazón:
su sabiduría, su adoración, su vida.
So too are we invited
to rise, to follow, to adore.
To seek Christ not in noise or spectacle,
but in stillness,
in faith,
in love.
También nosotros somos invitados
a levantarnos, a seguir, a adorar.
A buscar a Cristo no en el ruido ni en el espectáculo,
sino en el silencio,
en la fe,
en el amor.
The great King of the universe
reveals himself in quiet light.
Blessed are those who notice the star
and choose to walk toward it.
El gran Rey del universo
se revela en una luz sencilla.
Dichosos los que reconocen la estrella
y deciden caminar hacia ella.
