sion is simple: to lead lost souls to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is the unchanging, living Word of God and we're committed to preaching it boldly, living it daily, and walking it out together as a family of faith. Founded in 1976 by the late Pastor Jessie J. Rankin and Mother Annie B. Rankin through faith, prayer, and divine inspiration, Beloved was built to reach the poor, the brokenhearted, and the lost with the good news of Jesus. That mission still beats at the heart of everything we do today, under the faithful leadership of our Pastor, Dr. Johnny F. Cunningham. Here, you'll find:

- Spirit-filled, Bible-based preaching that rightly divides the Word of Truth
- Heartfelt worship that draws you closer to God
- A loving church family that genuinely cares about your soul
- Prayer, encouragement, and discipleship for every season of life
- A place where the Word of God is honored and lived

Whether you're hurting, hopeful, broken, burdened, curious, or simply searching — come as you are. You don't have to have it all together. You don't have to clean yourself up first. Jesus meets us right where we are, and so will we. Beloved is more than a church. It's an Oasis of Love. A place to belong. A place to grow. A place to come home. There's a seat saved just for you. Here's good news. We all sinned and none of us could fix it. So God came Himself, as Jesus, lived the life we couldn't, and died the death we had coming. Three days later He walked out of the grave. He did it all so you wouldn't have to. If you haven't receive the gift of salvation, it's still avaliable.

"Christ died for our sins... he was buried, and... rose again the third day." (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

Are you really enjoying life, or just getting through it?

There's a difference between being alive and actually living. Jesus said He came so you could have life, and have it more abundantly. Not just survive the week, but actually live it. If all you've been doing is making it through, He's offering you more.

People will try to label you by your worst decision and make it permanent. God peels that label right off. You are not what you did.

In Jesus, the old you is gone and the new one doesn't answer to the old name. Let them keep the label. You've been made new.

"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Whatever you're carrying right now — a bill, a diagnosis, a heavy heart, something you can't put words to, there's a name that can hold all of it.

Jesus meets every kind of need there is. You can run to Him with the whole weight of it and be safe.

"The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe." (Proverbs 18:10)

A Prayer for You This Week

Dear Lord Jesus, whatever this week brings, keep me from quitting and keep me from excuses. When it gets hard, remind me that hard is not the same as over.

I trust that what You have for me is already on its way. I don't have to chase it or force it. I just have to stay faithful and keep showing up.

Steady my hands, guard my heart, and let me be found ready when it arrives.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

Jesus paid it all.

Every sin, every debt, every wrong you can't undo. He carried it to the cross and marked it paid in full. You're not trying to earn what's already been bought. You just have to receive it.

Come to Jesus today.

08/27/2026

We always say "come to Jesus." But what happens when you do?

1. Your sins are washed away.
Not covered. Washed Away. (Acts 22:16)

2. You're born again.
New life, new heart, the old you left behind. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

3. You're baptized in His name.
Buried with Christ, raised to walk new. (Acts 2:38)

4. You're filled with His Spirit.
God Himself living in you. (Acts 2:4)

5. You become His own.
A name. A family. A home that lasts forever. (John 1:12)

Why does that matter?
Because this life doesn't last forever, but your soul does. Where you spend it is the one decision nothing else can make for you. Everybody's headed somewhere. Jesus is the only One who can make sure you're ready.

Tonight, we’re continuing our Doctrine of Scripture series and how to Rightly Divide The Word of Truth

You can be surrounded by people and still feel unknown. But there's One who's been closer than you realized, close enough to die for you.

Jesus proved He'd stay by going to a cross before you ever turned His way. He's not asking you to earn the friendship. He's asking you to receive it. Call on His name today.

"While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

Pastor, Bishop Johnny Cunningham

There is never a wrong time to say thank you. For 38 years, you have stood as a faithful spiritual leader, a dynamic teacher to Beloved and to so many beyond the church walls. You have planted seeds of faith into this flock and watched them grow.

We appreciate you, and we thank God for equipping you with the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of His word. You boldly and Rightly Divide the Word of Truth, and we thank God for you, "His Favorite."

Our prayer is that God will continue to favor you, strengthen you, keep you, and grant you the desires of your heart.
