What an amazing 4 days of the Selma Film Festival this past weekend. It was so much fun having Manuel and his family (parents from France) and others in Selma and at Temple Mishkan Israel!! Manuel ( from Los Angeles & France), one of the founding members of the Selma Film Festival along with Jo Ann Bland ( RIP Jo Ann) and Bernard Gilhodes was a delight getting to know along with his family members and associates. The film festival was sponsored by Arts Revive, Black Belt Community Foundation, Foot Soldiers Park, Reflections Coffee Shop and Alabama Entertainment Office. It was a great event for Selma. Temple Mishkan Israel had a wonderful visit from 4 Jewish schools on March 16th.

N.E. Miles Jewish Day School Birmingham, AL, The Jewish Day School New Orleans, LA, B'nai Shalom Greensboro, NC, and Ezra Academy West Hartford, CT.

Friedel Jewish Academy Omaha, NE, was unable to make the trip because of flight issues. We missed Beth Cohen and her students.

Thanks to Brian Cain from N.E.Miles for taking the lead for these groups visit to Selma and TMI. Because of a cold and windy day, they had their lunch at TMI. We look forward to the school's return!!
