🌟 Celebrating Healthy Heroes at Edmundite Missions Summer Camp! 🌟

We are grateful for our partnership with Cornerstone of Health Selma, whose team recently helped make this summer unforgettable for our campers through their engaging Healthy Heroes Program.

This special session marked the first graduating class of the program, where students learned the NEWSTART principles of health and wellness while building healthy habits, confidence, and character. The enthusiasm and participation of these young people were truly inspiring!

A special thank you to Mary A. Nelson, Executive Director of Cornerstone of Health Selma, and her team for sharing their expertise and passion with our youth. We also appreciate the support of our dedicated staff and volunteers who helped make the experience a success.

At Edmundite Missions, we believe that investing in the health, education, and well-being of our children strengthens our entire community. We look forward to future opportunities to partner with organizations like Cornerstone of Health Selma to create meaningful experiences for the families we serve.

We are so proud of the young people at Edmundite Missions!

Recently, our teens participated in a mock court case where they learned valuable lessons in conflict resolution, communication, teamwork, and leadership. Through this hands-on experience, they practiced listening to different perspectives, thinking critically, and working together to solve problems.

Opportunities like these help our students build confidence and develop skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.

🍎 No child should wonder where their next meal will come from. No senior should go hungry alone.
Since 1937, Edmundite Missions has answered hunger with compassion — beginning with simple sandwiches handed out from the back door of the mission house. Today, that mission continues in powerful ways across Selma and rural Alabama communities.
💙 The Bosco Nutrition Center now serves 1,300 meals every day, all year long.
💙 1,500 weekend breakfast meals are provided weekly to elementary school children who may otherwise go without food on weekends.
💙 Meals of Hope delivers 600 meals to homebound neighbors throughout Selma.
💙 Food bags reach 1,000 people each month in rural communities including Mosses, Vredenburg, and Pine Apple.
In a community where nearly 30% of residents face food insecurity, your support helps ensure healthy meals — and hope — are always within reach.
Together, we are feeding bodies, strengthening families, and nourishing futures. 🙏
