Sacred Heart ❤️ of Jesus, have mercy on us and the whole world… 🌎

June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus — in our Catholic Church, the Sacred Heart reminds us of Christ’s deep and personal love for humanity—a love that is merciful, compassionate, and always inviting us closer. Often depicted as a heart burning with love and crowned with thorns, the Sacred Heart reflects both the love Jesus has for us and the suffering He embraced for our salvation.

This month is an invitation to draw near to the heart of Christ—to trust more deeply, pray more intentionally, and remember that we are loved beyond measure.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, make our hearts more like Yourself 😇

Today the Church commemorates and celebrates the sending down of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles in the Upper Room, which we hear about in the first reading. Please pray for our newly baptized and confirmed, and those completing their Easter Sacraments today at the Cathedral Basilica of SS Peter and Paul downtown.
