A day in the life of JULY :)

Sharing a summer morning that I spent with my sweet boy.
We loved soaking up some sunshine + strolling through the woods 💚

There's something about releasing expectations and productivity on our time--I'm so grateful when we can do that! As most of us know, not every season offers that kind of space :) It's freeing and refreshing just to be present, undistracted, and let the time unfold.

Our stroll was filled with singing silly made up songs, picking up lots of sticks, stopping + starting (many times), and moments of "making our shoes go faster!"

I'm passing along a permission slip to you today, friend, so that you too can make space to release expectations and productivity on your time, and just see how your time unfolds :) No matter how big or small that time is, I have no doubts your soul will feel the benefits!

Sharing a few pictures summarizing some of my time in June

💛RECITAL.... I really love how Julie's dance recital kicks off our summer!
💛RELAX.... I love that I get to be ridiculously present with my kids (and hubby) as I step away from social media and just be present for what the season holds :)
💛ROME.... I was blessed to go on a really amazing trip to London + Rome to celebrate my beautiful God-daughter Laura + her HS graduation. Once in a life-time trip with so many wonderful memories. We are blessed!

🎨Today is Day #1 in our BRAND NEW Series: Live Like🎉

This coming season, we will share all 21 new Bible-gram designs centered around one design thread (hello cute little "live like" banner 😍) and a theme that encourages us to learn how to live more like our Good Friend Jesus, on our faith journey.

Sometimes we are waiting for a "permission slip" to yes to something, to start or to stick with it!

Whether it's working out, writing that book, following the wonderful dream the Lord put on your heart-- we might get hung up waiting for the exact right time.

Well, my friend, let me be the first to tell you, that feeling of the exact right time doesn't show up.
We have to just START 🤍

But in case you're still looking for a signal (or a permission slip 😉),
here it is my friend ( read this as bolded and underlined 🥰):
🔥Go for it!

I turned the big 4-0 this summer (whoop whoop 🎉). The years leading up to this particular birthday, I had a goal + primise to myself-- not to live a life that I wished about, but one that I went for and actually lived-- in the free and light way that our Good Friend Jesus invites us to! 🤍

So, I am here, cheering you on friend, and welcoming you to do the same--

🎉Happy 5th Birthday to ODE!

I can't believe it's officially been 5 years since ODE became a small business/marketplace ministry :)

I can still remember being on the phone with my sister and we were moving through the process to obtain our EIN number and officially log as an (Indiana) business entity. I was so nervous, unsure and certainly felt like an imposter of sorts! But I'm so glad that we took that step of faith 5 years ago. God continues to show how faithful He is and guide ODE as a business, each step of the way.

🎈Thank you to each of you-- all of our friends, family, supporters and organizations we've been able to collaborate with over the last 5 years! Such a blessing. We wouldn't be here without your love, prayers, partnership + support.
