Alter Flowers:
Once we move back inside on September 6t, we will adhesion enjoy having Alter flowers. Please check the Flower Calender in the vestibule, choose a Sunday, and sign up to provide flowers. Please let Linda Maurer know if they are placed for a special occasion or in memory of someone so it can be noted in the bulletin.

2027 Outdoor Worship Voting:
The results of the vote held August 9th was a TIE between Worship in the Grove every Sunday and Worship in the Grove Only on Sundays with Special Events. This tie needs broken with another vote once we move back inside for Worship. The Tie-Breaking Vote will be taken Sunday, September 27th. You MUST be a present Salem Church member to vote and you MUST be in attendance to vote!
This time there will only be 2 options.
1.) Continue Outdoor Worship Every Sunday During the Summer.
2.) Outdoor Worship Only on Special Events such as Breakfasts and Church Picnics.

The Ladies' Banquet will be held September 23rd at 6:00pm and tickets are on sale now! If you would like to attend, please see Eileen Stauffer, Carole Hupp, or Linda Carl. Adult tickets are $18 each. You may make your meat choice when you purchase your ticket!

The menu this year includes: Chicken and Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Corn, Coleslaw, and Dessert.

Please bring your sisters, mothers, grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters, mother-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, and friends for a fun night of delicious food and entertainment!

Deadline to Purchase Tickets is September 6th!!

Salem's Summer Project! We're nearing the end of our summer project, with the goal to fill 15 Flood Buckets. We've been collecting specific items needed, that will be used by Mission Teams serving communities affected by floods. We also have a "donation bucket" for anyone who prefers to contribute financially. THE LAST DAY TO DONATE IS SUNDAY, AUGUST 30TH!

Backpack Blessing! It's that time of year again, school is right around the corner. This Sunday, all kids are encouraged to bring their school bags to service for the backpack blessing!

Peach Festival! Sunday, August 16th at 5:00pm, Zion Lutheran Church in Kratzerville is holding their Peach Festival! Come for a time of fellowship and enjoy homemade peach and vanilla ice cream with peach toppings, homemade peach pie, and peach cobbler! Please gather in their downstairs fellowship hall!

Fish Sandwiches and Fries will be served this Saturday, August 15th from 4:00-6:00pm in the Grove! All proceeds will benefit Salem Church. Don't forget to invite family and friends!
