We are coming to a point of having to shut down our programs in Haiti. We are not receiving enough financial support to continue. Our music ministry and Bible study programs have sponsors and will continue, however; our sewing school and home health programs will have to be closed down as of July 1st. We have enough funds to pay for June salaries, but that will be all unless we find funding or sponsors for these programs.
The sewing school currently has 12 new students that just started two months ago. The program pays for the three teachers in the amount of $300/a month. The students are required to cover the costs of their own materials needed for class. The building I rented has one year rent left then it will have to be reconsidered for renting if the program will continue.
The home health program has 52 elderly patients that can't come down the mountain to receive medical care. We have two nurses that run the mountains providing blood pressure checks, physical therapy for those who need it, blood sugar checks, etc. We also provide the medications that they need. Currently we pay the nurses $150/a month and medications needed at $100/month which is not enough as costs for medications have risen.
If you are interested in sponsoring one of these programs or even a one-time donation, please let us know. If you have any questions you can message us here.
We appreciate all the support we have received in the past. Without your support, we couldn't be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Thank you.
