"Stuff the Stockings" for Thriving Hearts Crisis Center

This Christmas season, we’re spreading love and joy to children in need at Thriving Hearts Crisis Center and we need YOUR help!

Each child is invited to bring 15–20 SMALL items (Items should fit inside a stocking sized 6.5" x 17") We are planning to stuff stockings during our Friendsgiving Meal & Mixer!

If it fits in a stocking and makes a kid smile you’re on the right track!

To My Seniors,

When I first stepped into this role as Youth Director, you were just sophomores. I was new, unsure, and learning everything as I went. You were my guinea pigs—raw, honest, hilarious, and never afraid to call me out when I messed up (which was often). But you stayed. You showed up. You believed in me, even when I was still learning to believe in myself.

You’ve walked with me through growing pains, both mine and yours. You’ve seen my struggles and my wins, my brokenness and my healing. And through it all, we built something beautiful together.

I am so incredibly proud of the people you are becoming. Your authenticity, your boldness, and your hearts for others have left a permanent mark on my life. I didn’t just get to lead you—I got to know you. And for that, I’m endlessly grateful.

As you step into this next chapter, remember this truth: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12

You may be graduating from Youth Group, but you’ll never graduate from the impact you’ve had here. I will carry your stories, your laughter, and your lessons with me always.

Love you more than words can say. Go change the world but don’t forget where you started.

It’s a unique fundraiser where YOU become an investor in our youth. Donate any amount and you’ll receive a Stock Certificate and an invitation to our Stockholders Dinner on July 2nd at 6 PM. At this special dinner, our students will serve you and share their trip experiences!

🌅 You're Invited to Our Youth-Led Easter Sunrise Service! 🌅
Come celebrate the Resurrection with us as the sun rises on Easter Sunday! This special service is led by our incredible youth and will be held outdoors at 6:45 AM in the Prayer Garden at First Methodist Church 710 N Austin St.

✨ Breakfast will be served after the service, and all are welcome.

There’s something powerful about greeting the empty tomb with open hearts and open skies. We hope you’ll join us and bring a friend!
