New San Antonio Deaf Fellowship! 🤟
After talking with a close friend and seeing the immense need in our area, I am moving forward to launch a new Deaf Fellowship right here in San Antonio. Our heart's desire is to lift each other up, share God's Word, and build a resilient, Christ-centered community.
To make this sustainable and impactful for everyone, here is how we plan to structure our gatherings:
Every Other Month (Church Meetup): We will gather at a rotating host church for prayer, preaching, fellowship, and lunch. (Note: The host church will provide the message and the meal).
The Months In-Between (Social Meetup): We will meet up at a local restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or supper just to relax, hang out, and catch up on life and ministry.
Our Core Goals:
Encourage One Another: We have a massive, vibrant Deaf community right here in San Antonio that needs Jesus. As leaders and servants, we all need a strong network of support, too.
Keep It Edifying: This is a zero-negativity zone. We aren't here to compare or brag about ministry size. We are strictly here for the Word of God, mutual encouragement, and spiritual growth.
Share Honestly: This will be a safe space to share our burdens, lifting one another up in prayer, while also sharing upcoming events and fresh ministry ideas.
