James Catholic Church is a faith community where all are welcome, ministry is shared, and love is faithfully demonstrated. Our elementary school is the oldest facility still being utilized as a school in the state of Texas and was recently given an exemplary rating during its accreditation process. It serves 200 students in the 3K through 8th grades. James Parish has over 900 registered families a

nd is part of the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Along with the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. James serves the Catholic population in the Guadalupe County area.

Today, our parish was blessed to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi alongside our friends from Our Lady of Guadalupe. Together, we gathered in faith and devotion to honor the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

What a beautiful witness to our community as two parish families came together in prayer, worship, and unity. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this celebration so special.

The Feast of Corpus Christi Mass will be celebrated this Sunday, June 7, at 9:00 AM at the Seguin Town Square.

If there is inclement weather that morning, we will move the celebration to the Patricia K. Irvine King Pavilion in Riverview Park. Please check back with us here on Facebook for more information on the morning of the event. Remember, please bring your personal lawn chairs to the Mass if you can. We will have about 200 chairs at the event to help ensure everyone has seating.
