We had an action-packed blessed day at church yesterday! I love my JAM and FLY kids. We had blessings of the backpack for teachers and students, Baptisms for Kennedy and Emery, First Communion for 8 of our JAM fam, Rally Day during the Sunday School hour to kick off our new spiritual year, and a JAM water day with pizza to end the day! Whew!! We are “Wild About God!” and it showed yesterday!!

Tomorrow will be a busy day in the life of our church. First communion for eight of our JAM kids, baptism for two, backpack blessings for all of our kids and teachers going back to school, rally day during Sunday school hour, and JAM water day from 11:15- 1. So don’t forget your backpacks, your towel and your swimsuits.

JAM Kids had a great meet-up at La Playa last Wednesday. We have been having a great time in our Sunday school Campfire Stories. Kase sported his Jesus visor at Garner last week shining God’s light for all to see and we had fun with water on Sunday after reviewing the miracle of Jesus walking on water. We had watermelon, painted pictures with watercolors, and used water balloons to make splatter art on the sidewalk!

Catching Up on June Events so far- We have had fun in Sunday School during the Summer. We are doing stories around the campfire, playing games, doing crafts, and watching movies. We had a meetup at the Seguin Public Library and the Park West Splashpad. It is a busy summer, but we are loving the easier schedule during the summer months.

Camp Eagle 2026-13 kids from Faith went the first week of June to experience the great outdoors while DISCOVERING more about God! They met new friends, had so many opportunities for fun, and grew closer to God and each other! They are ALL ready to go back and we want to thank all that supported us getting there through fundraisers and donations.

We had a great time at our end of the year JAM Fiesta. We had to “ Taco About Jesus!” and learn the taco prayer. We have some fun too with the piñata and ate some delicious Mexican tacos and other food. Thank you to all the moms, the committee, and FLY kids who helped us make it a fun event. What a beautiful morning! Our Sunrise Service was led by our awesome youth. The 9:00 service was full of music by the choirs, all three of them!! The pews were full of so many families, a welcome sight for us to reconnect with ones we haven’t seen in a while. The cooler weather took us inside for our egg hunt, but there were plenty of eggs for everyone! The Easter bunny made an appearance also. New this year was our butterfly release. Just like a butterfly is transformed, Jesus can do the same for us! He can transform you and give you hope! The smiles on the young and old made this a fun experience for all!
