Important Announcement:

Effective July 1, 2026, Fr. Florida Rodrigue Rakotomampiarina, Missionary of the Holy Family has been appointed as the new Parochial Vicar for St. Ann Catholic Church in La Vernia and Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig.

This news comes to us after we anticipated the arrival of Fr Rafal Duda as our new parochial
vicar which you might have read about in our social media, flocknote or parish bulletin. As the readings have reminded us this Sunday, the spirit of hospitality is part of our life in following Christ. It is with open minds and hearts that Fr Florida joins in service to our community. We hold in special prayer all priests, religious and parish communities undergoing a transition of assignments. May the Lord Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today and forever be our strength!

As Fr. Florida begins his ministry among us, we invite everyone to extend a warm St. Ann and ABVM welcome. Please keep him in your prayers as he transitions into his new assignment and becomes part of our parish family.
