This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are deeply grateful for their sacrifice and the freedoms we are blessed with today.

As a church, we also lift up in prayer the families of the fallen, asking God to bring comfort, peace, and strength. May we never forget the words of Jesus in John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

Hey Chapel family! 🎉 You heard that right… it’s BEACH DAY!!!

G1 is hosting an incredible Beach Day, and we are so excited!

But here’s the best part, this isn’t just for G1… this is for EVERYONE!

That’s right, ALL members of our church are invited!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at 11:00 AM

We’ll be hanging out at Anna Maria Island Beach; sun, sand, and amazing community!

And get ready… because things are about to get competitive 👀

We’re having a volleyball competition—The Chapel Mango Lifegroups vs. each other! 🏐🔥 Who’s taking the win? You’ll have to come find out! And if you’re not part of a life group, this is a great opportunity to connect with people you could be doing life with!

Our Fast is nearing its end on May 17 🙏

Take a moment today to pause and reflect on what God has done this week. Whether it felt easy or challenging, quiet or powerful—He has been at work in ways we may not even fully see yet.

Fasting isn’t just about what we gave up, it’s about what God has been growing in us: deeper dependence, clearer focus, softened hearts, and renewed faith.

✨Today’s encouragement:

Don’t rush past what God has been speaking. Write it down. Pray it through. Hold onto it.

Fasting isn’t about perfection — it’s about creating space for God to move in our hearts and lives.

Whether you chose a:
• Complete Fast – liquids only
• Selective Fast – removing certain foods (like the Daniel Fast)
• Partial Fast – fasting during specific hours of the day
• Soul Fast – fasting things like entertainment, TV, or distractions

**STARTING TODAY, MAY 11th and through MAY 17TH!! **

Fasting has been a way for God’s people to humble themselves and draw closer to Him for thousands of years—Jesus, David, and many others led the way! But here’s the thing, it’s not just about going without food; it’s about aligning your heart with God’s.

In Isaiah 58, God calls out His people for missing the point of fasting. They went without food, but their actions toward others didn’t reflect His love and justice. God made it clear—true fasting isn’t just about what you’re giving up; it’s about how you’re living.

✨So here’s your invitation: As we step into a season of fasting, ask God what He’s calling you to let go of. Maybe it’s food, entertainment, or even a habit that’s been distracting you from Him. Whatever it is, let fasting be a way to reset your focus, humble your heart, and let His love flow through your actions.
