“Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done” (Psalm 105:1). When someone gives you a meaningful or costly gift, how do you show your appreciation? Do you tell them how grateful you are? What do you do with that gift? When it’s something you are truly thankful for, you probably don’t just throw it in the back of a closet or you open...ly and proudly display the gift. When others see and admire it, you probably tell them about where it came from and about the generosity of the giver. In the same way, as believers, we should give thanks to the Lord and constantly show our gratefulness and appreciation for all He has done for us by displaying the gifts He’s given us. We should display love, peace, joy, kindness, and hope. We should live our lives in such a way that our very actions proclaim His greatness and cause others to take notice.

:Sometimes it’s overwhelming to think about everything God has done for us. We can always find things to get angry, disappointed or confused about; but God has blessed us in many ways and He doesn’t plan on stopping. God wants to open doors for us that no man can shut and His infinite power has no limit. God wants to shower us with blessings and nothing can stop Him. Expect big things from God, because He is all-powerful and He loves you. "I am the Lord, the God of every person on the earth. Nothing is impossible for me."
Jeremiah 32:27.

“A man is not established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous cannot be moved” (Proverbs 12:3). Do you ever feel tossed around by the storms of life? Have you ever seen a tree in a hurricane? The winds and the rain blow the leaves from the branches, and sometimes the branches are torn off, or the tree is blown over. But the tree's roots are protected from the weather by being firmly established in the ground. The same is true in our lives. If our thinking is not in line with the Word of God, we become vulnerable during the difficult times. But when our thoughts are in line with God's thoughts, He plants a righteous root within us. We become firmly established. Our thinking becomes clear so we can be strong and overcome the storms of life. God wants you to be solid. He wants you to be steady. He wants you to have an established life and character. He wants your roots to grow deep in His Word. He wants you to be righteous in Him. Ask the Lord today to show any areas of your thought life that might need to be firmly planted in God's Word. As you develop your relationship with the Lord you will grow deep spiritual roots and stand victoriously against the storms of life.

It's time for us to have a renewed expectation of good, to believe that God is about to do something great, that He wants to bring us into a new season of His favor and grace. Fear is the single greatest weapon the enemy
has to keep you from God's best. If you don't face your fear, it can pollute your thinking, steal your joy and rob your dreams. Our world pays so much attention to negative news that focuses on fear. "What if I lose my job?" "What if my child gets sick?" "What if the new business venture fails?" "What if I never find anyone and I end up all alone?" Every day these kinds of poisonous thoughts come against us, but we don't have to yield to them. You can choose not to listen to, act on or focus on fear. Instead, you can face your fears and you can overcome them by placing your trust in the promises of God's Word. When we give in to the thoughts of fear, when we're constantly thinking about it, wrestling with it and letting it dominate our thoughts, more often than not, our fears become a reality. The way to overcome fear is with faith and trust in God. His Word promises us that when we act in faith, He blesses us (Hebrews 11:1). As you invest into God's Kingdom, it makes a powerful statement that your trust in God is greater than any anxiety or worry.

: He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!…Revelation 21:5. Can you remember the time when you first discovered a big dream in your heart? Maybe you were determined to excel in your career, or excel as a parent; or even excel in your walk with the Lord. You probably started out strong, but maybe things got a little difficult and didn't happen as quickly as you would have liked. At that point many people decide, "Let's just settle here. It's not exactly what we wanted, but at least, it's good enough." Know that you were made for more than good enough! Maybe things haven't worked out the way you planned, but now is not the time to stop and settle. Now is the time to dig your heals in and begin again. And even if that dream has died, it's time to dream another dream. God has so much for you in your future. If you've settled in any area of your life, take that first step by declaring, "I am not going to settle for mediocrity. I am made for so much more! Things may be difficult, but I am pressing forward. I'm going to keep believing, and I'm going to make it all the way in to my Promised Land!"
