The speaker this month was our very own Marilyn Harvey who blessed us with her testimony. Marilyn taught us that in every aspect of your life, if you have a family member or friend that you can turn to, and who will pray for you, then you are blessed indeed. Marilyn talked about how special her dad was to her and that the Lord had been good to her, putting them in the same church family. We know that our God works in wonderful ways. She said she can see how God sent her to our church through several different circumstances and then led some very special people her way to become her good friends. Well, Marilyn, we all count it as a blessing to have you as our friend, and we thank God for you. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Our speaker this month was Jamie Bakenhaster who told us that no matter what we are doing or about to do in our lives, to get God's will on it, and it doesn't matter how great or how small the thing is you are about to do, talking to the Lord needs to be your first step. She went on to tell us about the many difficult things that had happened in her life and how God's hand was on her and her family guiding each step of the way. Jamie said she had learned a long time ago that no matter what you think about doing in your life, "get God's will on it", no matter what decision you think you are going to make "get God's will on it." That is something she has purposed in her life to do. From going on a date, to marriage, to trusting God with your children through every step you take in life. Jamie loves to tell every person she meets just what the Lord has done for her and her family. She loves to talk about the goodness of God. Thank you, Jamie, for speaking to us. Your life shows how much you trust the Lord and the smile on your face shows just how good He has been to you and how much you love to talk about His goodness. You pass on the blessings from God just the way He means for us to do. Thank you.

Our speaker this month was our own Linda Oiler who taught
us that no matter where you travel or how far away you may
be, God is there in the good and bad times alike. He will
guide and direct everything you do if you will let Him. Linda
told us of some of the things that she and her family went
through and how the Lord was there in all of it. They were
members of our church for years and then through some
unfortunate circumstances had to move away for a while.
Then the Lord moved in their lives again and brought her
and her family back home again and back to the church
they love. We are so thankful for you Linda and for your
family. You are always the first one to volunteer whenever
there is a need in the church or in someone's life. We love
and appreciate you and all that you do. God bless you as
He has blessed us by having you in our church and our
lives.

Our speaker this month was Gracie Garner. If you missed hearing this young lady speak, you really missed a blessing. Gracie shared with us her dream of helping young high school girls as they struggle through some of the toughest times in life. Gracie said that after going through a really embarrassing and tough situation while in her freshman year, she knew what it was like to have help but that there were plenty of girls who didn't have anyone to turn to. She said by the time she was a sophomore; she just started having such a burden for those girls who didn't have that "go to" person in their lives and wondered what she could do to fill that gap. Growing up with wonderful women who were always "in her corner" encouraging her and supporting her in everything she did, Gracie said she knew that she wanted to be that person for other girls going through similar or harder things, so she started "Bright Night" which is a free, back-to-school rally for any high school girl 9th - 12th grade. This event is designed to uplift, celebrate, and remind each girl just how special she is. Gracie said that these girls will be treated to a night of joy, connection, and unforgettable encouragement. She also prays that every girl who attends will leave with increased faith, new friends, and the knowledge that they are loved. What a wonderful and unique commitment to others. Jesus tells us that we are to be an encouragement to others and it looks like Gracie Garner is definitely following the course that the Lord has laid out for her. I think we should try to help out in any way we can and to pray for Gracie's mission to be successful and also praying for each and every high school girl that will hear the gospel at these rallys. Thank you, Gracie, for sharing your heart with us. What a testimony! We love and appreciate you. God bless you, your family and all your girls.

Our speaker this month was our own sweet Carolyn Nunley who shared her life's testimony with us.
Being raised by godly parents, Carolyn knew that the Lord was with her from an early age. But it was later on when a major test of faith came into her life that she learned just how powerful the Lord can be and just how much He will do for you and show you how He is right beside you no matter what you go through. Carolyn taught us that we should never take our prayers for granted, that we need to trust the way He moves us around and positions us in our lives.
"I'm blessed" she said, no matter what has happened God has been there and protected me. What an amazing testimony it was and what a privilege to be able to be there to listen and learn. Thank you so much Carolyn, for sharing your special story with us. We love you and appreciate you. Your long-term faithfulness to our church and young people through the years has not gone unnoticed. The Lord sees and will reward. Truly, we are all blessed.

Our speaker this month was our very own Gloria Watson who gave us her amazing testimony telling us of all the different things she has gone through in her life and how the Lord was with her through it all even though she didn't realize it at the time. Finding salvation later in life, she told us of all the times she didn't even know who to turn to, but that Jesus had been right beside her all the way, holding her up, watching and waiting to help her. When Gloria finally went to church and heard about Jesus she accepted Him as her Savior and what a difference it made in her life. It was then that she realized He had been beside her all along. Gloria told us her life could have turned out a whole lot different than it did...but God was there to see her through. She now works as our own Vice President for the Ladies Auxiliary and serves the Lord every day. She is quick to tell others what God has done for her and to give Him all the glory.
Thank you, Gloria, for honoring us with your story. You are a real blessing to our church and the Ladies Auxiliary. We love you and appreciate your friendship. We pray that many women will be able to say that their lives could have been very different...but God!

Gloria and I evacuated to Orlando. A lot of heavy rain and wind here and a few tornadoes, but praise God we are safe and never lost power at this hotel. Checking in with all our family and friends.

Our speaker this month was our own pastor, Will Beauchamp. We thoroughly enjoyed his testimony as he explained to us just how much Romans 8:28 means to him. Pastor Will told us how God moved things around in his life and brought him to the place he is today as the pastor of our church. He said you never know just what the Lord may be doing in your life with school, a job, the people you meet or even sicknesses or surgeries you didn't expect. God can use anything or anyone to bring you to the place He wants you to be for His honor and glory. Of course, we can all look back on those circumstances and finally see what God was doing, but it's the times that you are in the middle of it all that makes the difference. We need to trust the Lord and know that He is working things out in His timing for our best. Thank you, Pastor Will, for coming and sharing with us. You and your family mean so very much to us all. We love and appreciate you and your testimony. Now we can see how God worked in your life to bring you to us, which gives us the inspiration to be more patient while God is working in our lives. He always knows what is best for us if we will trust Him.
And we KNOW that ALL things work together for good to them that love God...
God bless you Will, I don't think we will ever read it the same way again.
