We have proudly supported Legendary Lodge, a Catholic summer camp in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena, for decades. It has been a birthplace of vocations for more than 60 years. This includes the vocation of Father Kaleb Mitchell, who was ordained earlier this summer! Capped off the summer with Little Girls Week. Tangled-themed big game? Don’t mind if we do! Safe to say there was a little bit of magic at camp this week.

Please say an extra prayer for our counselor team today as they wrap up their summer with us and follow where the Lord leads them next. What a gift they have been to this place and to every camper they served.

This week, Bishop Vetter visited the 5th and 6th Grade Girls camp, the final camp of the 2026 season, at Legendary Lodge to celebrate Mass and answer some great questions from the campers. Bishop was blessed to visit for a day at each of our six camps this year to meet and pray with our young people.

Ten priests and our bishop.

That's how many clergy made the trek to Legendary Lodge on Tuesday to offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation to our High School II campers. That's how important our young people are to the Church here in the Diocese of Helena.

What a blast it was spending the past week with this group!

Turns out, rain makes for a pretty sweet Family Camp.

Two days of steady rain meant lots of card games, warm cups of coffee, muddy shoes, soggy adventures, and a whole lot of time together.

Family Camp 2026 slowed us down in all the right ways. Deep gratitude to every family who embraced the weekend with such joy. Your family is a gift to Legendary Lodge!
