Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

This morning I was reading in Gal.5: 22-26 about the Fruit of the Spirit. I will share a few verses with you.

22). But the fruit of the Spirit is love , joy , peace , long suffering , gentleness, goodness, faith.

23). Meekness, temperance: against such.There is no law.

24). And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the afflictions and lusts.

25). If we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the Spirit.

26). Let us not be the desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

God's Word is food for the soul!

Good Afternoon Sedan Assembly of God Church,

The Lord has been dealing with me over some new things; at least new to me! Pray for me, that I will hear accuracy the voice of God and have no fear in following His directions!

I want to share the following scripture with you, this afternoon.

Acts. 2:38-39. In this scripture Peter is preaching;

38). Then Peter and said unto them , Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39). For the promise is unto you, and your children, and to all that are a far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40). And with many other words , did he testify and exhort, saying, save yourself from this untoward generation.

41). Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42). And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread and in prayer.

Praise God for His Word and may His will be done on earth today, as it is in heaven!

Good Afternoon Sedan Assembly of God Church,

Our help comes from the Lord.

Remember in Ps. 46:1 His Word tells us:
God Is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

In Ps. 121 His Word tell us:

1). I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2). My help cometh from the Lord, which maketh heaven and Earth.
3). He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4). Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5). The Lord is my keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6). The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7). The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8) The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

The Lord wants to help His children. We need to ask Him for the things we need.

Praise the Lord for Evermore!

Good Morning, Sedan Assembly of God Church,

This morning, I want to share some scripture from James 2:17-19, concerning believers.

17). Even so, faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18). Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.
19). Thou believes that there is one God; Thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Commentary for vs. 17
(1). True saving faith is so vital that it cannot but express itself in godly, action and devotion to Jesus Christ. Works without faith are dead works. Faith without works is dead faith. True, faith always manifests itself in obedience toward God and, compassionate deeds toward needy people.

(2.) James is directing his teaching against those in the church who profess faith in Christ and his blood atonement, and believe that such profession was all that was necessary for salvation. They believed that a personal obedient relationship with Christ as Lord was not essential. James says that such faith is dead and will produce neither salvation nor anything good. The only kind of faith that saves is "faith, which worketh by love."

(3). On the other hand we must not think that we maintain a living faith solely by our own effort. The grace of God, the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the intercession of Christ working in our lives to enable us to respond to God by faith from first to last if we ever cease to be receptive to Gods grace and the leading of the Holy Spirit, then our faith will die.

Commentary vs. 19
In this passage, the writer, James is discussing the nature of genuine faith verses merely intelligent agreement. He points out that's simply knowing or acknowledging that God exists isn't enough to save a person, because even fallen spirits, demons / satan's forces possess that exact same intellectual knowledge, and furthermore, their realization of God's power causes them to tremble in terror without leading to their obedience to God and His redemption.

This is just something that's been on my heart for a while, and I decided today I would like to share it with you.

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

Today, as I was praying and reading the Word, I came across these familiar scriptures and wanted to share them with you!

The Spirit helps us pray!

Rom. 8: 26-29

26). Likewise, the Spirit also help with our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; But the Spirit itself giveth intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27). And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28). And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

29). For whom he did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30). Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called, them he also called; and whom he called, them also justified; and whom he justified, them, he also glorified.

Amen.

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

Our God is faithful!

Rom.8:13-17:
13). For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify, the deeds of the body, you shall live.
14). For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15). For we have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption; whereby we cry, Abba, father.
16) The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17). And if children then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so, be that we suffer with him that we may be also glorified together.

Our God blesses us, exceedingly, abundantly, above. However, in this life we will have some hard times come our way.

When we go through hard times and struggles in this life, He walks with us, encourages us, and is our ever present help! We must trust Him, we can lean on Him. There isn't anything, and I mean anything, that comes your way that hasn't already been by God. He is aware of everything we go through.

May these words encourage you, today!

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

I want to thank those who came to the prayer walk on Monday! It took real effort on your part to there at 7:00 AM. I Praise God for you and your willingness to pray. I thank God for those who would have liked to have been there to pray, but couldn't because of work or other reasons!

I was reading in Romans 5 this morning and want to share a few vs. with you.
18). Therefore, as by the offensive, of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so, by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men and to justification of life.

19). For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

20). Moreover, the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

21). That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

The scriptures I would like to share with you today are from Ps. 86:15-17.

15). But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long-suffering and plenteous in mercy and truth.
16). 0 turn unto me,and have mercy upon me, give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thy handmaiden.
17). Show us a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord hath helped me and comforted me.
