Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

This morning I read this in Jude 1:3

Jude 1:3 says: Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly content for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Commentary:
Those faithful to Christ are placed under the solemn obligation to "earnestly contend" for the faith which God delivered to the apostles and saints. ( Phil. 1:27; 1 Tim.1:18-19; 6:12).

(1). "The faith" consists of the gospel proclaimed by Christ and the apostles. It is the fixed and unalterable truth, given by the Holy Spirit and embodied in the New Testament. However, "the faith" is more than objective truth. It is also a way of life to be lived in love and purity ( Col, 1:9-11; 1 Tim. 1: 5). It is a kingdom which comes in power to baptized all believers in the Holy Spirit, that they may proclaim the gospel to all nations with signs and miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

(2). The words "earnestly contend" describe the battle that the faithful believer must fight in the defense of the faith. It means literally to "Struggle, "Suffer," "be under great stress, or " fight a fight." We must exert ourselves to the utmost in the defense of God's Word and the N.T. faith even though it my be costly and agonizing.

Prayer: God my we be strong in you and daily content for the faith. My we realize that our personal walk with you is all that will stand with us when we leave this world! Help us Lord, to let go of the things of this world that clamer for our attention, but have nothing to do with Your Kingdom. May we shake off the things that are not permanent or important in Your eyes and hold tight to your mighty right hand. Help us remember that this world is not our home, we are only passing through! Amen!

If you do not have a home church, I invited to come and worship with us. We would love to have you!

In His Service,

Pastor Cinda

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

God is working on our behalf;

Eph. 3:20. Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

This is the foundation of faith.

Commentary: God will do for us not only more than we ask and desire in prayer, but also even more than our imagination can perceive. This promise is conditional and dependent upon the degree of the Holy Spirit's presence, power, and grace operating in our life.

This power comes with belief! May we believe that this is the same power that we sang about last Sunday. It is mountain moving power operating through faith. Pray for God to move your mountain, and let us come into agreement that God is still in the mountain moving business and that through Him all things are possible! I am praying for the church today that God will intervene and move your mountain! Amen!

In His Service,

Pastor Cinda

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

Praise the Lord for His wonderful presence in our service yesterday! The song " The Mountain will tell you," touched my heart abd went into my spirit. We all have mountains in our lives that we need God to move, for us. As I was reading in Mark chapter 11 this morning I begin to read about the power of faith.

In chapter 11: 22-24
22). And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23). For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24). Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Wow, we must keep praying and believe that God will do what His Word says! AMEN!

In His Service,

Pastor Cinda

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

Today, I want to share what has been on my heart this morning; the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit. We need, I need fresh oil daily from the throne room of God, in order, to make it through life's trials and struggles.

In Hebrews 1:9 the Word tells us ..." God , even thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness...

In our daily lives we need "fresh oil" of the Holy Spirit, a renewed sense of divine empowerment, presence, and purpose.

In the Bible , oil is one of the most consistent symbols for the Holy Spirit. It serves several functional and symbolic roles:
* Consecration (set apart)
* Healing and Comfort: Spiritually, it represents the Spirit's power to heal emotional and spiritual brokeness.
* Light: This symbolizes the Holy Spirit providing illumination, wisdom, and guidance.
* Joy: Scripture often speaks of the " oil of gladness," suggesting that the Spirit brings an internal state of peace and joy that isn't dependent on external circumstances.

" Why "Fresh Oil?"
The emphasis on "freshness" suggests that yesterday's experience or strengths are not sufficient for today's challenges.

In Summary:
When someone speaks of needing the " fresh oil of the Holy Ghost," they are usually expressing a desire for a spiritual recharge. It is a request for the Holy Spirit to move in their life in a way that provides, clearer direction, and a deeper sense of God's presence, in order, to face their current situations.

God is a faithful God who gives good gifts unto His children. Amen!

Good Afternoon Sedan Assembly of God Church,

God is in the move! Amen. As I was read the Word today I saw this scripture and wanted to share it with you.

Hebrews. 12: 27-29
And the Word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear;

29. For our God is a consuming fire.

Commentary; God will one day put down the present world order and shake to pieces the whole material universe. The present form of the world is not eternal; it will be destroyed by fire and replaced by a new heaven and earth. The only thing that will survive in its present form will be the kingdom of God and those who belong to it

Praise God we can be a part of the kingdom of God if we choose Him!

Amen!

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

This morning I want to encourage everyone that needs a healing in their bodies.

Jesus has not left us alone.
In Malachi 4: 2 The Word says :
"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."

COMMENTARY:
The day of the Lord will also mean salvation and deliverance for all who love and serve Him. In His kingdom, God's glory and righteousness will shine like the sun, bringing to His faithful people the blessings of salvation and healing. God's people will respond to His goodness and favor by leaping for joy like calves released from the stall.

Today, I'm praying for those in the church who need healing and those on our prayers list.
Jesus is in the healing business!

Praise His wonderful name!

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

Be of good cheer this morning, for our Lord is Risen and He will fight our battles, if we align our will to His.

Joshua 23:10 is a cornerstone of biblical "spiritual math," emphasizing that divine empowerment far outweighs physical numbers.

10). " One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you. " (NKJV)

Commentary:

Key:
The Disproportionate Power of Faith
The phrase " one man ... shall chase a thousand" highlights the asymmetry of spiritual warfare. In worldly logic, a 1-to-1,000 ratio is a su***de mission. However, in the economy of God, the individual becomes a "force multiplier" because the source of the strength is external.

* The math of Grace: When God is the factor, the size of the opposition becomes irrelevant. We see this later in the life of Gideon and the explots of David's Mighty Men."

* Divine Agency ("He who Fights for you")
Joshua is careful to redirect the glory. The Israelites did not conquer Canaan because they were superior tactician or stronger warriors; they won because of Divine Agency.

* The promise: Joshua explicitly mentions " as He promised you," likely referring back to the warnings and blessings found in Lev. 26:8 and Deu. 28:7.

* The Condition: This power wasn't a blank check." It was tethered to the command in the surrounding vs. 8 and 11; to " hold fast to the Lord" and "Love the Lord your God."

* Encouragement for the weary: Joshua knew that once he was gone, the people might feel vulnerable. By reminding them of this " one verses a thousand" principle, he was teaching them that longevity in the Promised Land depended on their relationship with God, not their military recruitment numbers.

* Quality over Quantity: In modern life, we often feel overwhelmed by "thousands" - whether they are debts , anxieties, illness, or systemic challenges.

Joshua 23:10 suggests that one person, aligned with the will of God, is a majority.

Summary: Joshua 23:10: is a call to courage through dependency. It reminds the believer that victory is not a matter of resources, but of relationship.

I hope thus blessed you today; because it blessed me!

In His Service,

Pastor Cinda

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

Well, today is Good Friday and we are looking forward to Easter Sunday, for He had Risen!

Luke 24: 5-7 says:

5). And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6). He is not here, but has risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7). Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Praise God Jesus Lives today.

Thank You Jesus!

Pastor Cinda

Good Morning Sedan Assembly of God Church,

This morning as I was studying on the resurrection; and I read Luke 24: 6, 7

6). He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was ye in Galilee,
7). Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

The resurrection of Christ Jesus is confirmed by the following facts.
1. The empty tomb.
2. The existence, power, joy, and devotion of the early church.
3. The writing of the New Testament. The New Testament was written by men giving their lives for the truth and righteousness taught by Jesus.

Praise God for His resurrection power!

Pastor Cinda
