We are thankful that you have chosen to worship with us today! May our hearts be filled with His joy & may He be glorified among us, in us, & through us!

Reading through the Bible in a year-
Mon: Ecclesiastes 1-3; 2 Corinthians 9

Tues: Ecclesiastes 4-6; 2 Corinthians 10

Wed: Ecclesiastes 7-9; 2 Corinthians 11:1-15

Thurs: Ecclesiastes 10-12; 2 Corinthians 11:16-33

Fri: Song of Solomon 1-3; 2 Corinthians 12

Sat: Song of Solomon 4-5; 2 Corinthians 13

Sun: Song of Solomon 6-8; Galatians 1

The Lord’s Supper will be observed this morning during the worship service.

Nursery / children’s church rotations- it’s that time of the year again! With the new fiscal year approaching, if you would be willing to be on some of our rotations for the nursery or children’s church for the next year, please sign up in the foyer.

A Case for Creation- We are excited to kick off our new children's program this Wednesday night, A Case for Creation! Make plans to come at 5:30 to eat and we will begin at 6:00. We will start out in the fellowship hall at 6pm and we will return to the fellowship hall at 7 pm for parents to pick up their child from there. Children should bring a bible!

Volunteer opportunity – We are looking for additional volunteers to help Emily Cotton and Jill Barton in the kitchen on Wednesday nights as needed. This would consist of serving and clean up- roughly 5:15 – 6:15. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer if you would like to be added to the rotation!

Nutrien Ag Solutions will be hosting their annual fundraiser for the Sedalia Family Resource Center on Sunday, September 13 at 11 AM. Chicken and porkchop plate lunches will be available. RSVP to (270)328-8164.

Thank you for all the cards, visits, cookies and other gifts, but especially your prayers. The road is hard but God is faithful and walks with me every step of the way. I covet your prayers. Martha Clark

Global Hunger Relief Offering - Around the world, 733 million people live with chronic hunger. War, famine, poverty, and rising food prices continue to push that number higher. From our own communities to places far beyond our borders, people are longing not only for food, but for hope. Gifts given toward Global Hunger relief help provide food for those in need while creating opportunities for gospel witness through the local church. Last year, God worked through the generosity of Southern Baptists to bring real impact: 33,000 food packages distributed, 1.6 million hot meals served, 31,000 people trained in microenterprise, agriculture, and other income-producing skills. Most importantly, more than 2.5 million individuals heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. 100% of all donations to the KBC’s Global Hunger Relief fund go directly to feeding the hungry. We will be collecting this offering through September 20. To give, write a check to SBC with “global hunger relief” in the memo.

Condolences
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Jo Ann Jackson.
