We sent home a folder with our kids age 6-12 today. It is a family 20 week Bible study challenge called Eat This Book! Please go through the pages with your child this week and have them bring the folder next Sunday. We will add a page or two every sunday. We will be working on it at church, and there will be a part for you to do at home. At the end of 20 weeks, your child will hopefully have developed a habit of Bible Study they keep for life! And at the end, we will have a party for those who complete the challenge. Several kids have challenged each other to Bible verse competitions. If you have any questions just let me know. Thanks!

Hey guys, the activity directors at the local nursing homes are saying that since their folks there can't have visitors and can't get out, they're getting awfully lonely and bored. They are wondering if there is any kids out there who would want to make some cute cards, color pictures, write short letters, Etc to cheer these folks up. So I'm rounding up the troops. Any of your kids want to minister to these folks? Be sure they tell him how much Jesus loves them and how special they are! If anybody decides to do them, bring them to me at Church Sunday and I'll get them to the nursing homes. Thanks!

Reminder, this Sunday, March 8th, we spring forward! To celebrate, KIDS Church is having a Pajamas and Pop Tarts morning! Kids are invited (if they wish) to wear their favorite jammies, (modesty please) and enjoy their favorite flavor of Pop Tarts as we dig into the riches in God's Word! If wearing jammies is not your thing, bring your robe and fuzzies slippers to put on!

Just wanted to let parents know, I am not going to try to make it into church tonight. The pagers are still laying there from Sunday, I did not make it in today to plug them back in so they'll be dead. So there will be no check-in or check-out tonight. Be safe!

Just a heads up to my parents, I made a small change to the check in/out sheet. It won't effect most of you, but I want visitors to have an option of us keeping their child in the classroom until they pick up, or turning them loose. So you will just initial in the column that works for you. Thanks!

Reminder, 3 Sunday mornings to practice before the Christmas program the 22nd! We also plan to practice for about 30 minutes downstairs after church Dec 15. The kids need a practice in the sanctuary and I figured that was easier than planning a separate evening to try to do it. Please like this post so I can see who I reached, thanks!
