We Believe…
That the Bible is the inspired word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct. (II Tim. 3:16, Heb.4:12, I Peter 1:23-25)
In one God as revealed in scripture, Creator of all things, manifest in the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 3:15, John 5:7)
That the Son of God, Jesus Christ, became incarnate, was begotten of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. (Luke 1:26-38, Matt 1:18)
That Christ Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world, rose from the dead, and ascended to the Father. (Phil. 2:8, Heb. 12:2, Matt. 28:5-6)
That all have sinned and are by their sins separated from God. (Rom. 3:23, Isa. 59:2, I John 1:8-10)
In personal salvation for all that come by faith to Christ, repentant of their sins, and receive Him as Savior. (John 3:16, Rom. 3:19-24, Gal. 3:22)
In water baptism by immersion as commanded by Jesus. (Matt. 28:19, Acts 2:38, 8:36-38)
In the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. (I Cor. 15:12-20, Heb. 6:1-2, Rev. 20:12)
That the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is to empower the believer; and that His infilling is evidenced as in Acts 2:4.(Joel 2:28.29; Mt. 3:11)
The gifts of the spirit are for the edification of the church. (Acts 10:44-46, I Cor. 12:1-10)
Divine healing through faith in Jesus Christ, and that healing is part of the Atonement and finished work of Christ on the Cross. (Isa. 53:5, Ps. 103:2-3, James 5:14-16, Mark 16:18)
The church is made up of all true believers. That every believer should be a faithful participant in the life a local church, the edification of the body and evangelization of the lost. (Heb. 10:25, I Cor. 12:18-27, Eph. 4:16)
In the sanctification of the believer and the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit in the believer's life. (Rom. 12:1, II Cor. 6:17, Gal. 5:22-25)
In the personal and literal return of Jesus Christ at His Second Coming. (I Thess 4:15-17; Acts 1:9-11; Rev. 1:7)
