The Lasagna Love crew was busy again this past Friday afternoon! The lasagnas are ready for King’s Kitchen to help feed the Secaucus community! Thank you for the care and love put into each lasagna and to those who donated to help us continue this important ministry at St. Matthew!

Communion will be served by Pastor Fletcher prior to the start of our service at 8:45 am, Sunday, August 16. We are so thankful for Pastor Fletcher’s assistance this summer.

We are looking forward to Bishop Compton’s visit today! She will be leading worship and serving Communion at 9AM. Welcome, Bishop Compton (of the ELCA NJ Synod)!

This Sunday, July 12th, we will be welcoming Gail Cruz as our Lay Preacher. Gail will be leading worship, but will not be administering communion. Worship begins at 9AM in our air-conditioned basement.

Next week, July 19, Communion will be served again by Pastor Fletcher prior to the start of our service at 8:45 am, as well as on August 2 and August 16.

Sending out this reminder as we are so lucky to have Pastor Fletcher back again this Sunday, July 5, who will be serving Holy Communion prior to the start of our service at 8:45 am. He will join us again on July 19, August 2, and August 16. Summer worship is now being held at 9AM in the basement.

We are saddened to bring you the news that Bill Kern, a dear and longtime member of St. Matthew has passed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family at this trying time. Bill’s beautiful life will be celebrated tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1, at Mack Memorial Home with the Visitation beginning at 4pm, and Religious Ceremony at 7pm.
