People across the United States celebrate Flag Day on June 14 each year to honor the United States flag and to commemorate the flag’s adoption. On the same day the United States Army celebrates its birthday.

6/10/26 Lillian Doane Walking Trail

Many thanks to everyone who helped make the blacktopping of the Lillian Doane Walking Trail possible. The process began in January of this year and was completed in June 2026. A full loop around both lakes measures 2/3 of a mile. This is a wonderful upgrade that our whole community will enjoy for many years to come!

5/20/26 Celebration of the Life and Ministry of Al Anger on May 1, 2026. This was the first anniversary of his graduation to Glory. Rosalie and her son, Tim, hosted an open house to honor Al and his 30+ years of ministry to the military. Many attended this celebration which was held at Maranatha Manor.

Mother's Day 2026

Proverbs 31:29-30 "Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised."

Sending a special thank you to all mothers - everyone has a mother but some never became a mother.

We appreciate the participation from so many of you residents and look forward to making this an annual post.
