HGMM is currently hosting various horse camps throughout the year for children 8 years of age and older. The camps focus on different concepts and character traits of God. For the younger ones, it is a time of fun activities and learning some of the basic concepts of following God daily. Whereas for the older ones, it is a fun but stretching and learning experience about becoming leaders and disco

vering how their lives and the daily choices they make have an impact on those around them! Our goal is not only to make this a learning time for those attending the camps, but also for those who come in to serve during the camps! HGMM also provides horseback riding lessons throughout the year. Although this is time for instruction about proper horseback riding, it is also time for re-emphasizing the truths of God’s word and character in their daily lives. Riding lessons, pony parties and other such events are also used to make it more financially possible to keep the horses and facilities that are used in the ministry year around well managed and up to date. In addition to the camps and riding lessons, HGMM also offers spiritual analogies using the language of the horse’s response to it’s trainer, and our response to our parents and God. trainer analogy is a wonderful way of capturing the attention of the young and old alike while demonstrating practical lessons of our daily life and interactions with our authorities and God. Our desire is to present basic concepts in a way to which many can relate and understand! We do this on an “upon request” basis for various Christian groups and other civic gatherings. This part of HGMM is funded only by love gifts and donations as there is no charge for the presentations. Gospel Chalk Art presentations are another aspect of HGMM. Though they are not horse related, they are sometimes used during the various camps. Gospel Chalk Art, aka Chalk Talk, is an effective way to get the message of God’s word across. They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words. While you may not remember what was said in last week’s sermon, you will probably remember a picture for months or even years to come. Our prayer is that people’s lives will be impacted by God as they watch and listen! Again these presentations are done upon request and are funded by love gifts and donations.
