1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.

We often hear 1 Corinthians 13 at weddings. It feels warm, poetic, and inspiring.
But that's not why Paul wrote it.

He wasn't describing romance. He was confronting a church filled with gifted, successful, ambitious people whose character hadn't caught up with their talent.
Sound familiar?

Our culture celebrates achievement, influence, productivity, and being right. But God is far more interested in who we are becoming than what we accomplish. It's possible to be successful and still be cynical. Generous and still self-centered. Busy serving God while keeping your heart at a distance.

Biblical love isn't about being "nice." It's the supernatural work of God's grace transforming us from the inside out—making us more patient, humble, forgiving, and free.

This week on the All Saints Podcast, we explore why one of the Bible's most familiar passages may also be one of its most challenging. Join us.

We are a place for all who believe, doubt, and seek.

Why has the world become skeptical of Christians?

Maybe it's because we've become known more for our arguments than our love.

You've probably heard 1 Corinthians 13 read at a wedding. It's one of the most beautiful passages in the Bible. But what if we've been hearing it in the wrong setting?

Paul wasn't writing wedding vows; he was confronting a church that was divided, proud, obsessed with influence, success, and being right.

He tells them, "Look, you can be gifted, you can have a lot of knowledge and have remarkable faith, and still completely miss the point."

Join us this Sunday as we discover why love isn't just something we say, it's who we become.

Link in Bio - All Saints Podcast episode 202: Make Jesus Controversial Again

Was Jesus a Democrat or a Republican?

He wasn’t either and he turned down every chance to be.
Our podcast this week is looking at the question that actually got Jesus killed (not the one trending on your feed): what kind of King did he come to be? Because once you answer that, the Constitution, the culture war, and the fight in your group chat all start looking different.
We’re not telling you how to vote. We’re not telling you God’s above all this either. We’re talking about Jesus — the King who kept refusing the crown.

Join us with your questions.

Sunday is coming... ☕👇

If Jesus didn’t come to take political sides... what did He actually come to do?

In a world that demands we choose a team, wear a color, and pick a political side, Jesus did something entirely different. He completely rewrote the rules of power. He didn't want an earthly crown, and He didn't align with the left or the right.

Tomorrow morning, the full episode drops. We’re stripping away the modern talking points and looking at the real history, the real Gospels, and the world-changing reality of a King who refused to be weaponized for political gain.

It’s weirder, better, and more challenging than you think.

🚨 Set your alarms. The All Saints Podcast drops TOMORROW morning. Link will be in our bio!

Was Jesus a Republican or a Democrat? 🇺🇸🤔

It’s a trick question! Every time people tried to hand Jesus political power or force a crown onto Him, He walked away. So why do we keep trying to fit Him into our modern political boxes?

This week on the All Saints Podcast, we’re diving into the explosive question that actually got Jesus killed: What kind of king did He come to be?

Spoiler alert: It’s not left, and it’s not right. It’s something weirder, better, and way cooler.
