We're a branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston - a church founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879 "to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing." Christian Science grew out of Eddy’s lifelong study of the Bible, particularly Jesus' words and works, and her compassionate search for a practical, spiritual solution to human suffering. A complete explanation of this Science is contained in her book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
