Most Thursday mornings, Community Loaves bakers are in the kitchen at 7400 Woodlawn by 8am, setting up for baking bread that will be donated to the local Ballard Food bank. Kitchens are places where people can experience grounding and nourishment next to the element of fire and a vision for feeding those who are food insecure. Baking bread with others is a recipe for sustenance and hope.

Emmaus Table needs your help to sustain our baking kitchen, our worship, and our work for the common good. Building community alongside our partners with shared values is more important than ever. With your continued support, our fundraising goal of $12,025 is within our reach. No gift is too small or too big!

Emmaus Table, located at 7400 Woodlawn, is a spiritual community, exploring faith in creative ways through shared meals, conversation, communion, building relationships, and service. The Center for Community, Arts, and Spirituality, a ministry expression of Emmaus Table, is an urban center in care of ‘shared space’ that promotes mutual flourishing for our partners, neighbors, and community. We envision a just world with equitable access to the arts, education, and spiritual communities.

The collective of non-profit partners who claim 7400 Woodlawn as ‘home,’ embody the Center’s heart of caring for a shared sacred space. In any given week, 10 or more arts, education, and spiritual-based organizations are meeting for preschool, rehearsal, worship, body-based meditation, community service, or a music performance. This reflects, in real numbers, that 550 or more humans/families are participating in meaningful community expressions here each week.

On behalf of Emmaus Table and Center Leadership, we thank you for the many generous expressions of time, resources and affirmation offered over the last 8 years! We request your sustained prayers, partnership, and financial support! As a spiritual household, we are committed to tending to the wellbeing of our neighbors, to sow seeds of joy and inclusion, and to expand the table of welcome. Learn more about Emmaus Table and the Center at 7400woodlawn.org. On our way to meeting our financial goal, we hope to add 25 regular pledgers in 2025! We are grateful for any amount you can give. You can set up a one-time gift as well a monthly donation if you choose.
