Bethany Wilderness Ministry invites you to a weekend away at the All-Bethany Wilderness Retreat! On September 23-25, join other folks from all six Bethany locations at the Firs Chalet in the beautiful Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan area.

You'll enjoy times of worship, intentional community, and plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors. Focusing on the theme of life in decay, learn how creation reveals life in the midst of changing seasons–whether environmental, personal, or collective. We hope to see you there!

2020 COMMENCEMENT ADDRESS

Last weekend was filled with graduation events for those celebrating their academic accomplishments and making a transition into a new phase of life. Pastor Richard recorded this commencement address encouraging grads and anyone else in a state of transition. In the address, he offers a perspective on recognizing and celebrating the past while looking forward to an unknown future.

Tonight's the night! The first session of Bethany's Women's Retreat "Embodiment: Hope and Love During this Season (Thoughts from Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon)" will be going live on Zoom at 8pm PST!

Join other Bethany women for some good content, connection with others, and the joy of seeing the faces of other women who have a pretty good idea of what you're going through. All week, we've been working on how to make these two one-hour sessions—tonight and tomorrow morning—as meaningful as possible.

Ladies--need some space to connect with other women? Join other Bethany women this weekend for two sessions on the theme, "Embodiment: Hope & Love During this Season (Thoughts from Lamentations, Ecclesiasties, and Song of Solomon)."

Join us for two Zoom sessions:
Tomorrow, Friday, May 1, from 8-9pm, and/or
Saturday, May 2, from 10-11am.

These two sessions are not another list of to-do's or even a way to best use your shelter-in-place time, but a way to process how this season is affecting our physical sense and experience both hope and love right now.

We'll hear a brief talk from Katie Douglass (Practical Theology Professor at Seattle Pacific University) before breaking into small groups to discuss their application.

Sessions are different from each other, but stand-alone if you can only make one of them. No RSVP necessary; just email Olivia Clements ([email protected]) for the Zoom link.
