Hi, my name is Peyton McGuire and I am the youth & children’s ministry intern here at Trinity Church Seattle! I’ve been an intern here for two summers now and it is truly one of the greatest privileges and joys I’ve ever known.

I am from Oxford, Mississippi and I am graduating from Clemson University in the fall, but Trinity has made a place so far away feel like simply another home. Getting to spend time with these middle school and high school girls, learning about and encouraging them in their faith, seeing how the Lord is working both in and through them, and having the honor of being invited into that are gifts that can only come from the Lord, but something that Trinity has been so faithful in pursuing to facilitate and enrich. This staff and this church body are fervently dedicated to abiding in and sharing the gospel, making disciples, beautifying the city, and growing the Kingdom and I am so thankful to get to be a part of that mission.

These pictures are just a few sweet glimpses of what life is like as an intern in this stunning city and at this dear church — they’ve served as both physical and intangible reminders of just how vast and loving and at work our God is. I cannot even begin to articulate how humbled and how thankful I am to get to live and work here!
