As we ended our Vision Series last week, the Lord put on my heart as a reminder: Satan is a vision and dream thief.
John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Many people have abandoned or neglected the dream God has placed inside them out of frustration for not having all the provisions and resources ahead of time before acting on the vision. Remember, it is a lack of faith and operating in the realm of the senses (knowledge) that demands evidence upfront. Every detail must be figured out before I act on the vision. I must have one large sum of money (a “fat check”) before I step out and pursue my vision.
Faith is the title deed (Hebrews 11:1 AMPC). A title is the legal way of saying you own the right to something. A deed is the legal document that transfers title from one person to another. By faith, you have the legal right to walk in your vision and do the impossible.
The ability and resources are already available for whatever you were born to do. The provision is usually hidden until you act on the vision by faith. Vision will build your faith muscles, and fulfilling it will be a great blessing to you as well as to others (Proverbs 13:12b). The dream thief has been found out and must restore seven-fold for every vision discarded out of frustration and discard out of fear (lack of finances and resources). Go and do the impossible!
Proverbs 13:12b
Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
