Bhikkhus, there are these five gifts of a good person.
What five?
1. He gives a gift out faith;
2. He gives a gift respectfully;
3. He gives timely gift;
4. He gives a gift unreservedly;
5. He gives a gift without injuring himself or others.
1. Because he has given a gift out of faith, wherever the result of that gift is produced, he becomes rich, with great wealth and property, and he is handsome, attractive, graceful, possessing supreme beauty of complexion.
2. Because he has given a gift respectfully, wherever the result of that gift is produced, he becomes rich, with great wealth and property, and his sons and wives, slaves, servants, and workers are obedient, lend an ear, and apply their minds to understand.
3. Because he has given a timely gift, wherever the result of that gift is produced, he becomes rich, with great wealth and property, and timely benefits come to him in abundance.
4. Because he has given a gift unreservedly, wherever the result of that gift is produced, he becomes rich, with great wealth and property, and his mind inclines to the enjoyment of the five kinds of fine sensual pleasures.
5. Because he has given a gift without injuring himself or others, wherever the result of that gift is produced, he becomes rich, with great wealth and property, and no damage comes to his property from any source, whether from fire, floods, kings, thieves, or displeasing heirs.
There are these five gifts of a good person.
ម្នាលភិក្ខុទាំងឡាយ សប្បុរិសទាននេះមាន ៥ យ៉ាង ។
សប្បុរិសទាន ៥ យ៉ាង ដូចម្តេចខ្លះ ?
១. ឲ្យទានដោយសទ្ធា
២. ឲ្យទានដោយគោរព
៣. ឲ្យទានតាមកាលគួរ
៤. ឲ្យទានដោយចិត្តអនុគ្រោះ
៥. ឲ្យទានដោយមិនបានបៀតបៀនខ្លួនឯងនិងអ្នកដទៃ ។
១. ម្នាលភិក្ខុទាំងឡាយ បុគ្គលឲ្យទានដោយសទ្ធា ដោយផលទាននោះ កើតក្នុងទីណា ៗ ជាបុគ្គលស្តុកស្តម្ភមានទ្រព្យច្រើន មានភោគច្រើនផង ជាបុគ្គលមានរូបល្អគួររមិលមើល ជាទីជ្រះថ្លា ប្រកបទៅដោយភាពជាអ្នកមានសម្បុរល្អដ៏ក្រៃលែងផង ។
២. ម្នាលភិក្ខុទាំងឡាយ បុគ្គលឲ្យទានដោយគោរព ដោយផលទាននោះ កើតក្នុងទីណា ៗ ជាបុគ្គលស្តុកស្តម្ភ មានទ្រព្យច្រើន មានភោគច្រើនផង ពួកជនណាទោះកូនក្តី ប្រពន្ធក្តី ខ្ញុំក្តី អ្នកបម្រើក្តី អ្នកធ្វើការងារក្តី របស់បុគ្គលនោះ ជនទាំងនោះ តែងស្តាប់ដោយល្អ ផ្ទៀងស្រោត តាំងចិត្តដើម្បីដឹងផង ។
៣. ម្នាលភិក្ខុទាំងឡាយ បុគ្គលឲ្យទានតាមកាលដ៏គួរ ដោយផលទាននោះ កើតក្នុងទីណា ៗ ជាបុគ្គលស្តុកស្តម្ភមានទ្រព្យច្រើន មានភោគច្រើនផង ប្រយោជន៏គឺភោគៈដ៏ពោរពេញ រមែងមកតាមកាលដ៏គួរដល់បុគ្គលនោះផង ។
៤. ម្នាលភិក្ខុទាំងឡាយ បុគ្គលឲ្យទានដោយចិត្តអនុគ្រោះ ដោយផលទាននោះ កើតក្នុងទីណា ៗ ជាបុគ្គលស្តុកស្តម្ភ មានទ្រព្យច្រើន មានភោគច្រើនផង រមែងបង្អោនចិត្តទៅដើម្បីបរិភោគក្នុងកាមគុណ ៥ ដ៏លើសលុបផង ។
៥. ម្នាលភិក្ខុទាំងឡាយ បុគ្គលឲ្យទានដោយមិនបានបៀតបៀនខ្លួនឯងនិងអ្នកដទៃ ដោយផលទាននោះ កើតក្នុងទីណា ៗ ជាបុគ្គលស្តុកស្តម្ភ មានទ្រព្យច្រើន មានភោគៈច្រើនផង សេចក្តីអន្តរាយនៃភោគៈទាំងឡាយ មិនមានមកអំពីទីណាមួយ គឺអំពីភ្លើង អំពីទឹក អំពីស្តច អំពីចោរ អំហេតុមិនជាទីស្រឡាញ់ និងអំពីមនុស្សជាទាយាទ ។
